Can you create, lose or change time? No. So, can you really manage time then?
The answer, quite simply, is no.
Do you recognise any of the following problems?
The problem is that there will never be enough time to do all the things that we want to do. There will always be just twenty-four hours in each day. The harder we try to squeeze more time out of each day, and try to be 'busier' - the more unbalanced our lives become. We need some sort of system to help us decide what is really important.
Do you know what you value and what is Important to you?
You need to 'spend' your time wisely. Time is not like money in the bank that can be spent and then replaced. Once you have spent it - it has gone forever. Its true value lies in how you use your time. We each have an unknown store of time in the future, which we use in the present, and then look at in the past to see what we have accomplished with that time.
You therefore need to decide what your goals are, then plan, organise and prioritise your time in order to achieve those goals. You also need a system for deciding whether you should undertake a particular activity, and in what order any activity should be carried out.
